The Finnish American Heritage Center has an archive full of wonderful treasures each telling a story of their own. On Fridays we present some of these treasures here on The Finnish American Reporter's website and on The Finnish American Heritage Center's Facebook and Twitter accounts for everybody to enjoy!
The twig whisk and decorative paddle in the pictures are both part of the Veikko and Ethel Suominen collection. Both pieces (along with many other farming and household artifacts) came from the Suominen Farm in Vanhakylä Village, Rymättylä, Finland. We have no information on what the paddle was used for, but it seems to have been used for something. Do you know what purpose the paddle was used for?
